We had that on our trees last week and it was beautiful. For the life of me, however, I could not remember the word for it. Thanks for posting your pictures and reminding me that the word was hoarfrost.
Suzanne, there is a peace about your photograph, as if it is saying "All is well, so sleep and wait for another day" as the big spruce stands watch.
