I vaguely remember a developer's ad campaign that declared, "If you lived here, you'd be home now."

Some might not find this scene enticing, after all it's not a multi-million dollar mansion and the long unpaved drive would present it's own set of problems, but for me it looks like a very nice farm.

I bet there's something delicious cooking in the kitchen.

This family displays their flag along with a red, white and blue quilt.

What Remains....

This old barn is all that's left of a nearby farm. The farmhouse is gone and the farmland has been blanketed with a housing development.

It's disorienting to visit some of these places that have changed so dramatically from what I remember them to be.
