Home

I vaguely remember a developer's ad campaign that declared, "If you lived here, you'd be home now."

Some might not find this scene enticing, after all it's not a multi-million dollar mansion and the long unpaved drive would present it's own set of problems, but for me it looks like a very nice farm.

I bet there's something delicious cooking in the kitchen.

Suzanne, you are so right! A home is what we make it and I bet this is a home filled with lots of love and kindness & wonderful handed-down recipes.

looks like many of the Amish farms near our cabin in PA. Something good is always cooking in the kitchen!

Yes, it does look like PA! In fact looks like a farm just a few miles from me here in the suburbs. Great shot Suzanne.

I would much rather be there with a warm wood fire and something tasty baking in the kitchen than sitting in my suburban ranch. One day.

I recognize this place. I know the house and the yard. I know the walk across the drive to the barn. I feel the warmth of the cookstove inside the kitchen door as I wipe my feet on the rag rug then put my overshoes on the rug, there, just for that purpose. I smell bread baking.

I've been here before . . . it is all deja vu.

My goodness... cozy by the fire. No sounds but the click clack of the wood. Life seems to be so perfect all of a sudden.
