lonely tree

It occurred to me that I hadn't yet subjected you to a "lonely tree" photo. Well, it's about time.

This, of course, is technically a "lonely trees" photo, but since their standing with their arms outstretched and holding hands, we'll view them as one entity.

Critics will say of course ..... trite - yeah, don't care.....lacking tension - it's in the middle of nowhere, no tension in this spot.

Please enjoy the trite lonely trees. I love 'em, got a million of these shots. Gotta love a lonely tree.

They may be considered "trite" aesthetically in a place where the lonely tree is commonplace, like certain kinds of seaside shots here, but not to those of us who rarely see such a sight. And the quality shines through any possible cliche.

Beautiful shot...I've got lots of lonely trees here on the farm, and love them all.

What is strange is that those trees really look like one. At first, I REALLY saw JUST ONE!!! Love it!

I love the shape of the tree(s).

It's a nice metaphor for "standing together" in the middle of no where.

I see a lot of these out in Kendall County - I keep forgetting to bring the camera with me. I think I need to leave it in the car!!
