the light of winter

Photobucket

The best thing about winter besides the sparkling diamond snow, is the color of twilight. Clear blues and shell pink sunsets transform the white landscape. I never tire of this show of color.

I want to take this time to thank all of my loyal readers. You know who you are! I'm very happy that you take time out of your busy day to visit our little part of the world. My sincere thanks.

I too have been enjoying the colors of twilight, not just the spectacular sunsets I've been seeing, but the subtle blues and pinks as well.

I always enjoy your photos and commentary on your part of the world.

Your blog is such a lovely diversion, your photos and comments take me with you on your adventure, and I chuckle to see that i've taken photos of some of the same places, though not as well as yours. Your old house photos remind me of an internet friend, Ryan, from Kansas, whose photos evoke the same feeling as yours. Ryan's Photos Hope the link works, and hope you keep blogging and photoing the disappearing farms and barns in IL
