This was the scene this morning. I've been remiss and haven't posted a "lonely tree" photo in awhile. Somehow I never tire of them. Call them what you will... trite, cliche', nevermind I find them lovely in their loneliness.
I do love the lonely tree photos and with the snow in the background. You may be tired of the white stuff but it seems to make it to the western part of the state here and then suddenly, disappears. Our only snow that lasted more than two hours on the ground was back in January. We have the see-saw temps but without the fluffy stuff.
The Farmer's Wife lives 9 miles from anything. Join her on a journey to connect with the rest of the world and find some common ground. Visit anytime. The screen door will be open and the porch light will be on.

Hard to believe there is still snow on the ground at this latitude. Here in Kansas City we're going to be close to 70 degrees today.
Never call a tree photo trite. There's something majestic about trees - the way they point skyward, their branches, their patterns ...
Thanks for all your photos and commentaries.
