fresh eggs

Rural commerce is as easy as this:

Take the fresh eggs from the fridge in the shed.

Leave the money in the box.

I love the idea of such a simple way.

My grandma would always send someone across the way with extra eggs, or stick a few in with a pie or a mess of beans for the neighbors.

I soooo miss fresh eggs. There's nothing like em.

We had a system like this growing up... we went down the road from Grandma to the little egg shed at her neighbors, dropped our money in the box (made change if we needed to) and got our eggs.

Durn, now I need to find a place around here. Wonder if there's one in Y-ville.

katkit - There's a turkey farm in Plano, maybe they also have chickens and fresh eggs. And perhaps Lamb of God Farm in Big Rock has fresh eggs. Check their link to the right.

When I was a child we were use to sell egg from the roadside, along with vegetabels.
