Barns, silos and outbuildings are very often nestled together. This group of buildings presented an interesting abstract image. I love these old silos, ringed by bands of metal.

Where in Illinois are you located? My dad grew up near Bible Grove, Illinois between Flora and Effingham. I have uncles and cousins who still farm there. Your photos are beautiful.
I've been through Effingham many times. We live in Lily Lake, which is basically a bump in the road about 10 miles from DeKalb. My husband is the village treasurer, and he claims there are 300 residents. Hmmmmm....I would say that includes pets and livestock!
