faith
It's early morning in Lily Lake. Parishoners won't be arriving at the Congregation Church for another 2 hours. The sun is just rising and a breeze has picked up. This is a detail of the stained glass windows that encircle the church. I've yet to experience the beauty of the glass from inside the church. I'm sure it's wonderful.

Absolutely stunning. Shouse Chapel in Bible Grove, Illinois was infested with termites. The wooden framing was crumbling and nothing could be done to save the building. They did save and reclaim the stained glass windows, thank goodness.
Maybe they would let you inside some morning when the bright sun is streaming through these...what pictures you'll have.
Oh very beautiful! I love stained glass windows, especially when morning light streams through them! Great capture of this one!

Gorgeous!
I love the way the trees are reflected subtly in the glass.
I'm a sucker for stained glass.
